FAQ’s Frequently Asked Questions
How often do you come around?
We visit once every 4 weeks (28 days)* on the bin day or the day after the bin day depending on workload.
In rare occasions like Christmas or bank holidays we could temporarily change or come an earlier or later week.
We’ll be around until about 6pm for washing.
We can arrange urgent washings or one-offs on Saturday mornings.
*Note for Salford/Bury and other “3-weekly” areas we can do one-offs or quarterly cleanings only.
How do you collect your money?
After we washed your bins we’ll send you an email or a text message. You can pay via online banking or cheque via post.
I’d like my other bins to be cleaned, what if you call in the “wrong” week?
We can still wash all your bins if they are less than half full and not very heavy. If, for example, we call in “week 2” for the grey bin and your black bin gets emptied in “week 1” we can still do the black bin as long as it’s not very full. If there’s a bit of waste inside we’ll bag it in a clean bag and put it back in the bin after the cleaning (unless it’s a recycle bin in which case we’ll just put the waste back in the bin without the bag but the bin will still be cleaned disinfected and smell nice!).
Do I need to be home when you call?
No, you don’t need to be home as long as we’ve got access to the bins.
Our van will come to your street with a self-contained washing system, you don’t need to provide us with anything.
It will help us if you mark the bins with your house number or if you let us know how to find them.
What areas do you cover?
Most of Greater Manchester.
Please contact us to make sure we can cover your area.
If you’re a bit far from our areas we can still quote and arrange cleanings in most cases. Please ask us a quote.
How to stop the service?
Email us to cancel the service referencing your address at least 2 weeks before your cleaning is due, please.
If you’re just moving or have other requirements please contact us to arrange the new service.
About Privacy?
Your contact details will be used solely to enable us reply to your inquiries.
We will never sell or pass your details to third parties.
We will not be using your details for any marketing or advertising.
Your details will be stored in the private Gmail account above or our phone in case you texted us.
For existing clients: your details will only be used to enable us to deliver the required service and to notify of cleaning or balance credit/outstanding and to keep in touch for any service related matter.
